Rob Catchlove

Director

As an environmental scientist with 20+ years' experience in the water sector, Rob has a unique skillset spanning science, engineering, social science and community engagement. Rob has managed large complex projects for several years, often at the cutting-edge of livability and future cities.

Some key leading industry projects include:

  • Dobson’s Creek Disconnection Project | $5M project involving extensive engagement with council and residents

  • Rockbank North | Greenfield integrated water project to deliver the best mix (recycled, potable and rainwater harvesting) for the greatest amenity benefit

  • Halpin St Microgrid project | currently underway.

Rob also provides advice on photovoltaics and batteries to both precinct and small-scale developments.

Laura Cacho

Senior Consultant

With 15+ years’ experience in the sustainability field, in both the private and public sectors in Australia and overseas, Laura brings a unique and diverse set of skills to Wave. Trained in sustainable economics, behavioural economics, organisational change management, and facilitation, Laura has a passion for working with people and organisations to move environmental sustainability from a concept or idea to full implementation and adoption. 

Her past experience includes: 

  • leading the development of climate action plans and climate adaptation projects throughout Australia and the United States 

  • Director of Sustainability | Swarthmore College (small, private university outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA) 

  • Manager of RainWise, a stormwater incentive program | Seattle Public Utilities, Seattle, Washington (USA).

Ralf Pfleiderer

Environmental Engineer

Ralf has a beard and brown hair.
 

Ralf is well-recognised within Melbourne's Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) and Integrated Water Management (IWM) industries. With 20+ years’ experience in both private and public enterprise, Ralf applies engineering skills within a landscape, green infrastructure and open space context.

Ralf’s expertise covers all aspects of the project life cycle:

  • policy and design development, bringing together his experience as a client and contract manager

  • construction supervision and maintenance management

  • monitoring and auditing of assets from tree pits to precinct scale stormwater harvesting systems.

Ralf has an appreciation that how systems are maintained is a critical consideration for success even during the early policy and design development phases of a project.

Elle McClintock

Digital marketing and communications

Elle is our marketing and digital guru and has a strong passion for accessible digital content. With almost 20 years experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our marketing for Wave particulary in the digital space.

She works part-time at Wave Consulting (while also working in digital marketing at Swinburne University of Technology).

Elle lives and breathes all things sustainability.
